Workshops & Office Hours
To reduce recurring teaching friction through practical enablement.
Business Goal
Institutional tools only deliver value when people use them calmly under deadlines. Teaching teams needed enablement that fit real course rhythms — not generic documentation dumps — so that LMS features and web publishing paths felt approachable before midterms and grading windows.
Problem Statement
The same procedural questions resurfaced weekly: grading workflows, plagiarism settings, multisite edits, and upload edge cases for large cohorts. Ad hoc Slacks stretched staff thin; instructors postponed changes until crisis mode, amplifying outages and misunderstandings across sections.
Solution
I framed workshops around concrete scenarios faculties already run — duplicate and adapt last term’s exam flow, reconcile grade columns, sanitize student media — paired with booked office-hour slots for nuanced course designs. Patterns were summarized into short reusable checklists to anchor future self-service. Specific uptake numbers remain internal; narratives and examples walk through one-on-one with stakeholders.
